Gigur fra Brautaholti with fantastic 8,48 for conformation!

Congrats to Werner and Iris Reif. Their 5 year old silver dapple stallion Gigur fra Brautaholti, son of Glymur fra Innri-Skeljabrekku received 8,48 for is conformation (9 for Neck-Withers-Shoulders and proportions) at the breedingshow in Wurz.
Three talented mares sold

A customer of ours was visiting us last month. He found three very promising mares. He was looking for really interested breeding mares with high BLUP and good pedigree. The mares have a BLUP between 114 and 120 (V: Orri, Grunur and Álfasteinn).
Goggur arrived well in Germany

Goggur, the great 4 gaiter who was second for the qualification for the young riders class 4 Gait for the world championship last year found a great new home in the south of Germany. We are very much looking forward to see him this year at tournaments in Germany with his new rider.

You have also the possibility to keep your horse at our farm. We take all kind of horses, from foals to horses which are going to be exported after a short time to breeding mares. -

Read moreSabine has her roots in Bavaria, Germany. She was born and raised up in Weiden which is a town about 200 km in the north of Munich. She started riding horses when she was 8 years old, when she became 11 she found her way to the Icelandic horses at the famous farm Lipperthof from Uli and Irene Reber (www.lipperthof.de). -
Training
Read moreWe have two locations for training horses, the stable of Jón Helgi (www.sporthestar.is) in Hafnafjördur, Reykjavik in the horse club Sörli and the farm Akurgerdi about half an hour drive from Reykjavik. Here we have also the possibility to make ,,rekstur'' what is typical here in Iceland. We let the horses (gelding and mares) run free in a group.
