Grímur is a young stallion with a talent for sport you will have a hard time finding again!
Both of his parents are these real X Factor horses everybody is looking for.
His father Hringur frá Gunnarsstöðum is a totally unique 4 gaiter with huge movements, amazing speed and perfect character. He is one of these stallions in Iceland who is always fully booked with top mares and it is not easy to get space under him.

Even so he is still young he has also done amazing in sport with over 8 in T1 and well over 7,5 in V1 in one of his first competition. He has this what every sport rider is looking for, all 4 gaits are even and of extreme high quality. Hringur has also a top of the line pedigree. He is from the great Hróður frá Refsstöðum and a high judged Andvari frá Ey daughter which has only (!!!) given high judged horses! (the black horse under rider in the pictures is Hringur)
The mother of Grímur is as well a X Factor horse and has first prize. She is from the famous breeding of Stóra-Vatnsskarð where for example the highest judged mare in the world Lukka frá Stóra-Vatnsskarði is from. She gives clearly offsprings with these extreme movements! Under the pictures you can see pictures of offsprings of her (the red mare under rider and the red pinto mare running free).
Ok, but now enough about the breeding line. Now let's just talk about what you can obviously see of Grímur himself:
He has huge movements which are as elastic and soft as it can get with all the speed in the world in his gaits He has a fantastic top line and carries himself very well.
This guy later on shoes and under rider will have totally crazy movements with amazing speed, softness and lightness in the gaits, a combination very hard to find!
He is big and pretty with long legs and good high set neck, rather short body which helps him to go ,,uphill''.
He also has this perfect character as you can see in the video. He is very reactive and forward thinking but always willing to totally relax. You can see that it is very easy to push him forward and then you stop pushing and can go directly to him and pet him. This will so much fun to train this guy in the future!
AND his color dark bay with one blue eye and this very cool ,,star'' in the face doesn't hurt ether (;
So as you can see, this young guy has really everything to become a top sport and breeding horse in the future!
